Catalyst EDU is a Boulder County dropout prevention high school for students at risk

Catalyst Education of Colorado is a dropout prevention high school program for students at risk, that serves students in Boulder County and along the Front Range. Catalyst EDU is designed specifically to prevent high school drop out among students with high potential. There are surprising numbers of wonderful kids, perhaps like yours, who are at risk for dropping out of high school, and not because he or she is dumb, unmotivated, or a trouble maker. Our students are not here because they weren’t good enough for the big school. Our students usually have personal needs that were not being served in the traditional “big box schools.”

We know that you want more than a school that will prevent your son or daughter from dropping out of school. You also want your son or daughter to learn from creative and experienced teachers, engage in research, and write and revise papers, not just to complete pre-packaged materials on the computer. You want your teen to feel challenged and feel great about school, to rekindle the passion to learn, and to graduate, completely prepared for the world ahead filled with challenges and opportunities. This is exactly what Catalyst offers.

"Mom, I love my school!  The great thing about Catalyst is that they design the classes for my benefit, not theirs!"
-- Tim, a current student

"Not only is this the first and only high school that worked for Sarah, it’s the most focused I’ve seen her in twelve years of education.”
-- Chris, father of a current student
