Catalyst EDU is a Boulder County high school program for students at risk

Catalyst Education of Colorado is a high school program that serves students at risk of dropping out of high school in Boulder County and along the Front Range. Catalyst EDU can be an excellent high school program for any teen. Some of our students are not struggling with personal issues at all and fortunately found Catalyst for entirely different reasons. In fact, usually at least one parent will comment during a tour of the school: “I wish Catalyst were an option when I was in high school.” Catalyst is a great school for students who thrive when given the opportunity to control their own education. The reality however is that it is usually the struggling or non-attending student – the student considered “at risk” -- who is looking for an option. There are so many issues that can put great kids at risk, such as the traumatic loss of a family member or friend, issues related to depression or anxiety, substance abuse problems, coming to terms with an adoption, or a temperament that resists the highly competitive world of traditional high school. All of these students can find Catalyst to be an excellent, supportive high school.

"Mom, I love my school!  The great thing about Catalyst is that they design the classes for my benefit, not theirs!"
-- Tim, a current student

"Not only is this the first and only high school that worked for Sarah, it’s the most focused I’ve seen her in twelve years of education.”
-- Chris, father of a current student
