The Mission of Catalyst Education of Colorado

To be an accessible, nurturing and challenging educational catalyst for change, where teens assume control of their actions and develop resiliency, confidence, and passion to learn, as they complete high school with increased personal assets and solid academic skills.

Catalyst EDU is a Boulder County post wilderness high school

Catalyst Education of Colorado is a post-wilderness high school program that serves students in Boulder County and along the Front Range. If you are looking for an appropriate high school for your son or daughter to attend after participating in a wilderness program or therapeutic boarding school, it is likely that Catalyst EDU is your answer. In fact, 30% of our current students have come to us directly from a wilderness program or therapeutic boarding school. Catalyst EDU is an excellent “step-down” high school program for these students. Our small size, our individualized classes, and our program that emphasizes student responsibility and trusting relationships with teachers is ideal. Catalyst is also designed to collaborate with psychotherapists and other agencies that support teens in transition.

"Mom, I love my school!  The great thing about Catalyst is that they design the classes for my benefit, not theirs!"
-- Tim, a current student

"Not only is this the first and only high school that worked for Sarah, it’s the most focused I’ve seen her in twelve years of education.”
-- Chris, father of a current student
