

• Any student who wants a truly amazing, personally designed high school education
• The student who is “floating along” in high school, “doing fine,” but who would thrive, if given the opportunity to be in the “driver’s seat”
• The student who has experienced a traumatic loss or has been adopted
• The student who has a career, an athletic or musical talent, or a health-related issue that makes attending a regular school difficult
• The student who loves to read or loves to learn, but does not like school
• The student who is transitioning from a wilderness program, residential school, or a home schooling situation
• The student who is extremely bright, talented, or gifted and feels personal academic needs are not being met
• The student who deals with issues such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder
• The student who is ready to take college classes before completing high school
• The student who has tried three or four other high schools and never found the right fit
• The student who recently graduated from high school and does not feel adequately prepared for college
• The student who finds transition – between parents, among teachers or classes, amid the myriad of expectations and rules -- difficult
• The student who wants control and personal attention included with the “individualized studies” package
• The student who says that the last time he or she enjoyed school was in elementary school
